Abstract

|
We reported patients who ruptured tendons were developed subsequent to multiple local injections of corticosteroid around the tendons. Recently, ruptured tendons of Achilles tendon, peroneus longus, extensor hallucis longus, tibialis posterior tendon and plantar fascia each by one were encountered. We suggest taking special care of the possible adverse effects are needed when local injections of corticosteroids were applied, and should discuss the appropriate use in local injection of corticosteroid in tendon problems.
